Get Ready for the Intensive: Happening Next Week!
We’re excited to announce that our highly anticipated Intensive is happening next week at St Patrick's School in Kaiapoi! This year's event promises to be even better than before, with a rich curriculum covering Philosophy, Literature, and Theology, and an additional focus on Art for our Junior stream.
What to Expect
We’re thrilled to have access to the school’s classrooms for teaching sessions and play areas for breaks, ensuring a vibrant and engaging environment for all participants. The Intensive is designed for school-aged students and young adults, split into two streams:
Junior Stream: Aimed at students aged 11 to 14 years.
Senior Stream: Tailored for students aged 14 to 18 years.
Meet Your Teachers
Our exceptional teachers, Ben and Eliza McCabe from the Augustine Academy in New South Wales, will lead the sessions. They specialize in cultivating a love of learning and preparing students for university through a formation in liberal arts. They will be supported by local educators Stephen and Jacinta Woodnutt, both graduates of Campion College, an esteemed Australian Liberal Arts university.
Contribution and Support
To help make this event accessible, we’re asking for a koha (donation) of $100 for the first student in a family and $50 for any additional students. While this contribution helps, it doesn’t cover the full costs, and we rely on additional donations to make the event possible. If the suggested koha is a burden, please reach out; we’re committed to finding ways for everyone to participate.
As a registered Charitable Trust, we can provide tax receipts for those who wish to contribute more or become regular donors. Your support helps us further our mission of making liberal arts education more accessible!
